Öhlins chassis technology for the BMW R nineT

This Öhlins rear shock absorber in the 375mm version is manufactured and tuned to exclusive Unit Garage specifications. The nitrogen-pressurized monoshock absorber offers adjustable compression and rebound damping as well as hydraulic spring preload.

Assembly and Compatibility

• R nineT from 2014 to 2016 with EURO 3: Installation without making any changes to the motorcycle
• R nineT from 2017 with EURO 4 as well as all Racer and Pure models: Installation only after removing the activated carbon filter on the left side of the shock absorber
• R nineT from 2021 with EURO 5: Assembly without changes to the motorcycle
• Not compatible with the Akrapovic Single HIGH exhaust
• With the corresponding high exhaust version, installation is only possible after removing the pillion frame and using the Öhlins holder provided for this purpose.
