The MALOSSI cylinder kit gray cast iron Ø 63 is designed for the Vespa PX E Arcobaleno 150 from the 1981-1991 model year range. The bore is 63 mm, the stroke is 57 mm and the displacement is 178 cm³. Revised fluid dynamics with profiled overflow channels specifically direct the gas flow and support efficient combustion and thorough purging.

Sophisticated cylinder and piston design

The inlet channels are designed for high turbulence. The rear transfer ports feature a dual slope (1-2) profile, while the redesigned outlet directs the gas flow towards the exhaust. The two-ring piston Ø 63 was developed for high operating temperatures. Its geometry supports even guidance in the liner and reduces the metallic ringing noise when idling.

The redesigned head features sinuous cooling fins, a hemispherical inner contour and an inclined, yet central spark plug position. Two centering bushings support the coupling between head and cylinder; separation occurs via an O-ring.
