The ultra-compact piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is weight-reduced and reinforced. The ring set includes a nitrided and chrome-plated steel I-ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.
