Comprehensive care set for canvas, leather and split leather

This set bundles various products for cleaning, care and after-treatment of accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Which agent should be used depends on the respective material and the instructions for the individual care product.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• A tube of color cream in black or brown for smooth leather, contents 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Cleaning disc for removing glue and sticky materials, 100 × 60 mm in size and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Waterproofing

The waterproofing spray is suitable for the regular treatment of accessories, bags and jackets made of leather, canvas or split leather.

• If necessary, clean the item with warm, clear water.
• The spray can be used on wet or dry material.
• Shake the bottle and spray the product evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
• Wiping with a clean, damp cloth improves performance and reduces waste.
• For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours.

Safety notice: Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid eye and prolonged skin contact. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

How often you should wax depends on the use of the item in question. For regular use, resealing is recommended at least once a year.

• Remove dirt and sand.
• Clean with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or detergents.
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Work in a warm room or outside in the sun.
• Place the item to be treated in the sun or near a heat source.
• Gently spread the wax with a soft cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and folds.
• Rub in thoroughly and do not use excess wax.
• For an even finish, dry the waxed material with a hairdryer.
• Then hang in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather.

1. Clean the area to be treated.
2. Massage the cream in with a sponge and allow it to absorb.
3. Let dry for 15 minutes.
4. Polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush allows for even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brush with brass bristles is intended for cleaning and brushing split leather.
• The cleaning disc removes glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean it with a soft cloth.

Scope of application

The set is intended for bags, accessories and clothing made of canvas, leather or split leather. Manufacturer compatibility includes, among others, the BMW R 1200 GS LC, R 1200 GS Adventure LC, R 1200 GS LC Rad, R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure LC as well as numerous other motorcycle models and accessory applications.
