Product description: Case carrier for Hepco & Becker R 80 GS Paris-Dakar

Hepco & Becker's suitcase carrier has been specially developed for the motorcycle model R 80 GS Paris-Dakar, built in 1984-1987. These high -quality side cases are to be installed directly on the frame of the machine, which ensures stable and secure attachment. Constructed from robust steel tube, this carrier promises longevity and reliability.

Technical details and assembly

The carriers are designed for the recording of most Hepco & Becker Touring side case systems. An essential security feature is the theft -proof attachment of the suitcases using a metal adapter for which a castle adapter is required. This adapter is usually included in the scope of delivery of the side cases and is attached to both sides of the carrier.

The carrier is installed firmly on the motorcycle frame, whereby the turn signals can usually remain in their original position. In some cases, however, a transfer is necessary to meet the legal requirements for the beam angle of the turn signals. All necessary assembly materials and detailed instructions are included in the scope of delivery, which enables easy installation.

Additional Information

  • Construction made of steel tube, manufactured in Germany
  • High quality surface finish to increase resistance
  • Compatible with the most Hepco & Becker hard shell side case
  • The scope of delivery includes the carrier set for both sides including add -on material and assembly instructions
  • Pipe diameter: 16 mm
  • Due to the specific construction, no ABE or entry is usually required

The model -specific suitcase carriers from Hepco & Becker not only offer a reliable luggage solution, but also additional protection for the legs of the driver and passenger in the event of an accident.
