The TECNIUM air filter supports intake air cleaning on the KTM 450 XC ATV in the entire 2008-2011 model year range. Dust, sand and dirt are kept away from the engine to protect mechanical components such as pistons, cylinders and valves from the ingress of foreign objects.

Function and structure

The filter works with a multi-stage foam structure. The top layer made of open-pore foam holds back coarser dirt particles and at the same time supports optimal air permeability. A second layer of denser foam filters the finest dust particles while allowing air to continue to flow to the engine.
