The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. Thanks to its revolutionary technology, this advanced chain no longer requires regular relubrication, which was previously required every 1000 km. This not only saves time but also maintenance costs.

Extensive tests in the laboratory and on the road have proven that the service life of the HPE chain is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. A key advantage of this chain is the coating with Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced coatings from the group of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the chain's bushings and rollers and results in a reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The very high hardness of the coated surface combined with a low coefficient of friction results in improved performance. Additionally, eliminating the need to clean the chain and use lubricants minimizes environmental impact. The innovative ta-C coating technology was developed through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy.
