A powerful charger for virtually any vehicle battery
The NOCO GENIUS5 combines a fully automatic 5 A battery charger, battery maintainer and desulfator in one compact housing. It charges 6 V and 12 V lead-acid batteries as well as compatible 12 V lithium batteries, supporting battery capacities up to 120 Ah – from motorcycles and scooters to ATVs, cars and boats.
Charging modes for different battery types
The mode selector adjusts the charging program to the battery voltage and technology. In addition to conventional wet-cell, Gel and maintenance-free batteries, the GENIUS5 features dedicated programs for AGM and lithium batteries.
- 6 V for wet-cell, Gel, EFB, calcium and maintenance-free lead-acid batteries
- 12 V for wet-cell, Gel, EFB, calcium and maintenance-free lead-acid batteries
- 12 V AGM for AGM batteries
- 12 V Lithium for lithium-ion and LiFePO4 batteries with a battery management system
- 5 A charging current and capacity range up to 120 Ah
Temperature-compensated precision charging
An integrated temperature sensor monitors the ambient temperature and adjusts the charging process accordingly. This helps prevent overcharging in warm conditions and undercharging in cold conditions. Once fully charged, the device can remain connected for monitored battery maintenance.
Support for deeply discharged lead-acid batteries
The GENIUS5 detects batteries from as low as 1 V. For extremely deeply discharged batteries, a manually activated Force Mode is also available. For compatible lead-acid batteries, the integrated desulfation function can detect sulfation and acid stratification and support the recovery process.
Important: Force Mode temporarily disables automatic voltage detection and must only be used after checking the voltage and battery type.
