POLINI ECU box for Piaggio MP 3 300 HPE

The POLINI ECU Box is an additional, programmable control unit for the Piaggio MP 3 300 HPE in the 2021-2024 model year range. It is designed for 4-stroke engines with electronic injection and controls the amount of fuel injected over the injection time. This allows the injection to be set to suit the selected configuration.

Function and characteristics

There are two preconfigured maps to choose from for tuning. The selection depends on the Polini configuration and silencer used:

• Map 1: Polini thermal unit with original silencer
• Map 2: Polini thermal unit with Polini silencer

The ECU box is connected directly to the original injector as an additional control device. The programming is simple so that the appropriate one of the two stored maps can be selected.

Important connection note

Before purchasing, check whether the vehicle has a red, 6-pin motorcycle diagnostic connector according to ISO/DIS 19689 - OBD II. This connection is crucial for the selection and use of the ECU box. The ECU box is therefore suitable for the targeted adaptation of the injection control to the specified vehicle assignment and the selected Polini exhaust configuration.
