The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in performance and durability for motorcycle chains. Thanks to its revolutionary technology, this advanced chain no longer requires regular relubrication. Motorcyclists benefit from a significant reduction in maintenance as the chain no longer needs to be lubricated every 1,000 km.

Regina's HPE chain has been extensively tested both in the laboratory and on the road and has proven that its service life is at least equal to, if not longer than, that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. A key advantage of this chain is the coating with Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced coatings from the group of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and reduces energy losses while increasing efficiency in the secondary drive.

The very high hardness of the coated surface combined with a low coefficient of friction leads to improved performance and longevity. Additionally, the elimination of chain cleaning and lubricant splash during operation minimizes environmental impact.
