During development, the focus was on optimal throttle response and increased power, resulting in an increase in power of 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 9,200 rpm and a torque increase of 0.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm compared to a Yamaha MT-07 with a stock exhaust system, tested on Akrapovic's proprietary test bench.
