Aerodynamics from racing

PUIG developed the Downforce Sport Spoiler based on the Kawasaki Racing Team's experiences and tests on the WorldSBK circuits. The side winglets channel the airflow, making quick changes of direction easier. The downforce generated supports stability at high speeds and can reduce the risk of shimmy effect when the front wheel traction decreases.

Downforce and sporty control

During strong acceleration, the aerodynamic downforce counteracts the lifting of the front wheel. Depending on the respective motorcycle model, the spoilers on the front axle can generate a downward force of up to 6 kilograms. The specific aerodynamic effect depends on the model.

Sophisticated construction from PUIG

The spoilers were designed and manufactured in Barcelona taking into account current developments from MotoGP and WorldSBK. Rounded edges with a radius of more than 2 mm take into account the relevant safety requirements.

Installation does not require drilling into the panel. An ABE document is available for the product. Please check the scope of application specified therein carefully for your motorcycle.
