BASIC tank ring for the Honda CBF 500 2004–2007

Designed for the 2004 to 2007 Honda CBF 500, this tank ring accommodates a Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag. The required locking retaining plate for the bag is already included in the kit.

Simple operation

The tank bag is fitted and mechanically locked to the ring with an audible click. To release it, operate the front strap and then remove the bag. The fuel filler cap remains accessible with the tank ring fitted.

With the tank bag fitted, the recommended maximum speed is 130 km/h. The retaining plate is screwed to the bag in a position suited to the tank shape and possible steering lock. As BASIC and Lock-it use different locking units, their components are not mutually compatible. No type approval or registration is required when fitted as intended.
