BASIC tank ring for the 2026 Kawasaki Z 900 RS

The model-specific tank ring allows a Hepco & Becker tank bag with a BASIC locking system to be fitted to the 2026 Kawasaki Z 900 RS.

Complete ring kit

The kit includes the silver BASIC tank ring and the matching retaining plate for the tank bag. The retaining plate can be aligned on the tank bag according to the shape of the tank and the available steering lock. The tank bag itself is not included.

Locking without magnetic assistance

The BASIC mechanism locks purely mechanically and confirms engagement with an audible click. A strap at the front of the tank bag releases the connection for removal. The fuel cap can still be opened with the ring fitted.

Use the matching locking unit

The tank ring and retaining plate must both be from the BASIC system. A Lock-it retaining plate cannot be used with this ring. When installed as intended, neither an ABE nor registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific instructions must also be observed.
